Our GATE Program

​It is in the most current history that our school designed a unique program for students who posses certain talents or gifts. In the 1990s, our students were given an opportunity to be in the gifted and talented education program or what is commonly known as GATE. The look of the program has changed over the years, but the goal remains the same: To recognize the potential within students and prepare them intellectually, physically, and socially to be productive and contributing members of society.  
A specifically designed education is a vital part of the education of gifted and high ability students. Here is a link dispelling some myths that are common with the thought of gifted education.
